Resolve

Drawing lines in the sand
washed one way
and then the other
drawn again.

Resolve.  
Those lines will not be washed
stepped on
rejected
helpless as they fade again.

Anger as I struggle
how does this happen
I don't know when the wave will come
futile,  one says.
Not so futile,
I pray.

If you draw enough lines
the waves will miss some
they will live
there, I say.
I have created my boundaries.
